The gigantic Tackle World Southport business was purchased by Doug Burt in July last year, 2007. After a complete new shop fit-out and 5 times more stock than they were holding was added to the beautiful fitout:- Gave a result that must be seen to be appreciated.

The store was renamed Doug Burt's Tackleworld Gold Coast and the grand opening was early August 2007. Since then it's been full throttle ahead. Our next stage was to introduce an online store with our masive range available to people outside of a convenient driving distance to our store, backed with full shopping cart facilities and secure online services.

Any body can do what is common on the net, but only special people can do what is uncommon on the net - WHY? Because we all want what we can't find - "Says Doug Burt".
